What Does “Suspended” Mean?

If you see text next to your stock listing with the word Suspended with a yellow background it means that according to our data sources the company has not paid a dividend in over 90 days.

If you think that the stock has not suspended its dividend you should first check on the investor relations website of the company. A quick search with “[[company name and/or ticker]] investor relations” will generally provide you with a link. From there look in the events / news section or dividend section for the most recent dividend declaration or dividend payment date.

Sometimes however a stock may show in Divcaster as having suspended the dividend when it really has not. This is due to temporary data integrity from our providers.

If you have definitively determined that that stock in question does indeed still pay a dividend but it’s showing as suspended please contact us.
